CM:Chapter 74-Yu Family: Epilogue

Amber glares down at the still unconscious fallen angel in the cage. Jeffy, Loretta, Cyndi, and Zach stand nearby watching the angel too. It isn’t long until she starts stirring again. Amber steps forward, “Enjoy your sleep, Lorraine?”

The red eyes travel the room before landing on Jeffy then Amber, and narrowing, “Where’s my sister?”

“Sorry, she’s out of your reach.”

“That little-!”

“Language.”

“She put me to sleep. ME!”

“Don’t be so full of yourself. It’s highly disappointing.” Zach growls.

“So, the little girl didn’t make it through but she sent the mutt and me through?” Val growls. Loretta holds back the angry Jeffy.

“Well, until we get her back, you get to have a nice place to stay.” Amber states turning around, giving a silent notion to the others. The wolves head up the stairs and Zach follows. Amber waits a moment before looking over her shoulder, “Vana will never re-merge with you, not while I’m alive.”

“Then I guess you will you be writhing on the ground when I see her again.” Val grins. Amber growls menacingly but leaves up the stairs slamming the door at the top. Val leans against the wall, looking at her hands.

“So, close, she was in my grasp.” Val clenches her fists. The magic in the room suddenly shifts and she looks up. The man in the hood approaches her cage and holds his hand through the bar.

“Welcome back, ma’am.”

“Come, we have much to plan for when my sister comes back.” Val takes his hand and the two vanish in a puff of black smoke.
