Chronicles of Mianite: Chapter 67-A Dangerous Plan

I look around the small room as Matty and a few other characters file in. Sie leans over to me, he whispers, “Are we seriously going to trust these people? Creepy hood guy and red robot aren’t a ringing endorsement for me.”

“Matty says they are the best at what they do. I’m running low on options.” I state with a sigh.

“Do we really trust Matty?”

“You’re asking this now?”

Sie sighs, “Fine, I trust your judgement.”

Matty clears his throat, “Vana, when you are ready.”

I nod and step forward, “First introductions are in order. I am Vana Wowgurl, the girl that claims to be me is my twin sister Valkyrie Lorraine. I’ve been trapped in the Nightmare Realm for the last few months that she’s been around.” I wave towards the hooded dude.

He takes the hint, “I am Nesnah. All magician. Witch, Ars Magician, Thaumaturge, Blood Magician, and Botanist.”

The red robot nods, “Newnewbie, most call me New. Ars Magician, Blood Magician, Thaumaturge, and Botanist.”

“Matty, but you all know that.” Matty resigns.

“Sie. Apprentice Witch and Thaumaturge. Vana’s guardian.” Sie states with his arms crossed watching the group, challenging them to hurt me.

I roll my eyes, “Look, I’m going to put it simply so if you want to back out you can. We are taking down my sister and sending her back to my realm.”

“Why not simply kill her?” Nesnah asks.

“If you kill her it creates a weird paradox because we aren’t in our dimension. Trust me, it’s better to capture her and send her back to where my family is waiting to hold her and where I can continue my fight with her in safety. If you want to back out now, do so.” No one moves, except some shifting. “Good you are in. I have heard from Matty that Nesnah is really good at witchery and New is really good at Ars Magica.”

“What’s the plan, Vana?” Matty asks.

I nod at Sie and he pulls out a small drawing of the under part of my house, I make a table grow and he lays it down, “My sister is near perfect at witchery-.”

“ZScourge level.” Matty interjects.

“-She and I originate from a magical world like this, but we became bound to a vanilla world.”

“What’s the actual plan?” Nesnah asks, impatient.

“If I keep getting interrupted you won’t know.” I state with a sigh, I point to the room we are standing in, “This is my witchery room, this is where most the plan is going to happen. Nesnah, I need you to work with Sie to create a powerful enough circle magic to hold Val. I only need you to hold her for about five minutes, but I also need you to concoct a sleeping potion, one that will send her to the dream dimension.”

“Dream? Why not nightmare?” Nesnah raises a brow under the hood.

“Let me finish. Jeez. We need her trapped for a few minutes while I stabilize the portal between worlds. Knowing her she’ll either tunnel vision me or take out the strongest people in the room.” I motion to Matty, Nesnah, then New, “The sleeping potion needs to have two backups, the throwing potion and something I can inject her with. Either way, if we send her to the dream realm it will ensure that she dreams that she wins. I know my sister that well, she wants to win. I will be stabilizing the portal so all I need is the Ars Magicians to protect me until it’s fully up.”

There is a moment of silence, “That’s it? Protection?” New asks, disappointed.

“I mean you get to use your powerful spells against the so-called ‘Vampire Queen’.” Nesnah states with a shrug.

“True, that will be fun.” New looks over the plans, “What about the portal itself?”

“I have completed all the calculations, again, for it. I just need to bring down the mana and what not to power it and focus on my realm. That’s it, I just need you to protect me and the portal.” I state standing and looking at the group again.

“Okay, so by chance we get your sister to come, get her captured what would happen?” Matty asks.

“Like I said earlier, she will most likely taunt, she loves her taunts, and one of two things will happen. She’ll either A) go straight for me through everyone killing whoever gets in her way. Or B) attack you all and start to torture you so I will pay attention. So, you will all have to have each other’s backs. Someone must attempt to toss the potion at her, so she will either not expect it or jump out of the way. From there she will do something I can’t predict but it will all end with me whimpering and begging her to not hurt you all. If the potion doesn’t work then the syringe will, she won’t expect it from me. We’ll send her to the dream and I assume we will have like five minutes before she figures out it’s a dream. By then we will be sending Jeffy and her through the portal, I will follow after them. Then you won’t have to deal with me or my crazy family again.”

The men shift uncomfortably, before Matty nods, “I’m in.”

“I’m in.” Sie remarks.

“I’m in.” Nesnah states grinning.

“This’ll be fun.” New grins.

“Let’s take down the Vampire Queen.” Nesnah cracks his knuckles, “Sie, come on, we have a lot of work to do.” The men start breaking off, I watch after them smiling before taking the blue prints and making the table vanish.
